About

God’s word is full of promises meant to strengthen our faith and provide us the soul-level rest, peace, hope, and joy we all so desperately long for. Too often we try to live off of gratitude from yesterday’s graces, but this notion is not the scriptural teaching on building our faith. Gratitude is good, of course, but it is insufficient to sustain our souls. It is beneficial to look back—beyond our own lives and across human history even—in so much as it reassures us that the grace from yesterday is the same grace promised to us today, tomorrow, and forever, by the same good God. Grace for for all eternity. God’s promises of future grace are the only power strong enough to sustain our souls through all we face in this fallen world. He has not left us wanting! He never will! The Bible is filled with reassurance of his care and provision for his children! As we abide in the words of God, we will more easily recognize the experience of them every day. These words strengthen our faith and fill us with the true and lasting peace, hope, and joy that no other devotion or “self-help” maxim can give. Every person knows in their heart that they aren’t “enough” and they never will be. Likewise, we know nothing the world can offer is enough to satisfy our soul. We find our truest satisfaction in God alone, and he has given us his word that he has made this satisfaction possible now, despite any circumstance, and will sustain it forevermore. Every child of God should know these promises and find soul-satisfying strength for tomorrow in them. Memorize them. Meditate on them. And, above all, treasure the one to whom they point, who forever fulfills each one of them—Jesus Christ. All God’s promises find their “yes” in him—for God’s glory and our good. No matter what comes, we have Christ, forever, because he has us, forever. He has all things under his rule and reign, forever. Hopefully this site will help you learn and treasure the truth of the goodness of God and his promise of future grace. We’ll keep adding to it.
